As of April 20, 2020, at 8pm, Connecticut residents will be required to wear face masks or coverings in public situations where social contact is unavoidable. Face coverings include masks, surgical or handmade; and items like scarves and bandannas. The covering must cover both your nose and mouth completely,. Be sure that you wash your mask after every use.

If you do not yet have a mask, and are able to sew or have a family member who sews, there are many tutorials available online on how to make a simple cloth surgical mask. Remember, these masks help protect others, but do not protect the wearer. That’s why everyone needs to wear one – so we can protect each other.
